In a battle of two Pirates and Rivers, the Freshman of Rocky River showed balanced dominance over Black River Thursday. The Freshman team won 35-0 behind a solid, Offensive defensive and special team showing. River scored 4 rushing touchdowns by three different backs; Jones (2), Konrad and Nugent all found the endzone by land. Jones also went to the air with a 67yd TD to Horvath. The stingy defense pitched a shutout, and Konrad and the special teams were 5/5 on PATs.
