FAIRVIEW PARK-The kickoff is drawing near for the Fairview and Rocky River High School football teams.
Fans for both schools cannot wait until Friday night arrives.
“This is certainly our big rival game,” noted Rocky River coach Rick Adams. “The fact that we play Fairview to start the new season just makes it even more special.” Fairview coach Tom Narducci, who has been a part of many scholastic rivalries at previous head coaching assignments, is eager as well.
“I’ve been here long enough to know the significance of the Fairview-Rocky River game,” said the second-year head coach of the Warriors.
Wednesday will feature a special fan poll online about Friday’s game, while for Thursday’s post, I’ll look at some of the numbers surrounding this rivalry.
